⭐ ABOUT THE SERIES

“Dorothy” is a scripted dramatic series inspired by true events from 1980s Central California. Much of Dorothy’s story takes place in and around Fresno’s Chinatown, making it a central part of the show’s world and history.

TKP Studios is currently looking for local businesses, property owners, and community members who would like their location to appear in the show.

This is a cinematic scripted series, not a documentary, and all scenes are filmed respectfully and professionally.

⭐ WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking Chinatown locations such as:

  • Storefronts

  • Restaurants

  • Bars / lounges

  • Alleys with character

  • Street corners

  • Motels

  • Small shops

  • Parking lots

  • Cultural locations

  • Historic buildings

  • Empty indoor spaces we can dress as 1980s scenes

  • Private property willing to allow outdoor shots

Any location with 1980s character or the ability to look like it is valuable.

At this stage, TKP Studios is an independent production and cannot offer financial compensation yet.

However, we provide:
